Q: What’s your favorite place to visit?

A: I love waterfalls and trees and warmness...so anywhere with those elements!

Q: Favorite movie?

A: I constantly cycle through about 10 different rom-coms; the one I want to watch next/again is Runaway Bride.

Q: Favourite restaurant or coffee shop?

A: I love any coffee shop that has a good vibe. For restaurant’s, I’m always down for some good Mexican!

Q: Any pet peeves?

A: When I get a cotton candy milkshake from Marble Slab and it turns my teeth and tongue blue. It can never be a special, secret moment with myself. The world will always know.

Q: Favorite Youth Ministry moment?

A: Seeing kids ask real questions about how Christianity can be a way of life in today's world.

Q: What’s the biggest mistake you ever made in ministry? What’d you learn?

A: Thinking that I’m the initiator when in reality God is and my job is to come alongside what he is already doing.

Q: What’s the best event you’ve ever done with students?

A: Trunk or Treat was a time and a half.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of youth pastoring?

A: Obviously hanging out with my new hubby.

Q: What’s your biggest ministry struggle at the moment?

A: Learning about what it actually means to be a Pastor. Anyone can make a program, but training and teaching youth about intimately walking with God is something I’m trying to wrap my head around.

Q: If you could gather all the youth pastors in our province in a room, what would you want to say to them?

A: God’s heart is burning for the youth in Alberta. Burning for them to notice Him and understand His love and laws. You get a few hours with these kids compared to everything else they encounter in a week. Ask God for an understanding of how he wants to engage with them and what you and your team can do to inspire these kids to live out their purpose following Jesus. And never stop praying!

Q: Is there something that the youth pastors of the province can be praying towards for you?

A: Sleep. I don’t do it well, if at all.

Q: Where can people connect with you online?
