We have something to call teens to. When we organize missions trips, we give them the opportunity to see what it feels like to put your hands to the plow. It takes them beyond the teaching component, beyond the four walls of a church and into the world, where people need Jesus.
Organizing and executing an international missions trip is hard work (especially if you’re taking students). In some ways it gets easier the more times you do it. One thing that has been a huge help in my mission-trip-taking process is being prepared for the tech challenges once you are in a new country.
